![]() ![]() YESTERDAYby Wyatt Pemberton, OrganizerFrom James: He’s choked up several times knowing that so many people care. He does want everyone to know how humbled and in shock he is with all of the outpouring of support. Over the next couple of days I think it will be filled with a lot of us trying to figure things out, him realizing that I’m having to help him with things that one wouldn’t normally want their wife helping them with and letting him rest. He ate a little to take his pains meds earlier and luckily hasn’t complained about having to take any meds. I think that’s the best thing for him to do. This afternoon he’s found a comfortable spot and is sleeping. I think his roommate had a lot of machines and they kept the door open so the hallways were busy. Which I understand that because anytime I would talk to the nurses or doctors in his room it was extremely loud. Apparently the tv in his hospital room was broken and the sound didnt work. Today however, he talked to me for a while this morning and said how nice it was to have someone to talk to and how it was really good to be able to hear the tv. He woke up more than he realizes and had a hard time getting comfortable. I know because my body clicked over to “momma of a newborn” mode. Friends, he didnt sleep as well as he thinks. He says he slept ok last night, but he also said he thinks he woke up once. TODAYby April Schofield, BeneficiaryThursday 2:30 PST
